Ozzy Osbourne Still Has Hope Bill Ward Will Join Black Sabbath Reunion
Facebook.com/BlackSabbathBill Ward is still holding out from the Black Sabbath reunion, however lead vocalist Ozzy Osbourne has not given up on the drummer changing his mind. Osbourne told The British newspaper The Times, “There was no row. There was no argument. The door ain’t closed," he says, "Whether we work something out up the road, I don’t know.” Guitarist Tony Iommi added, “It’s not a personal thing. If he phoned us up tomorrow, which he hasn’t, but if he did…”
Ward announced in May that a contract dispute prevented him from joining the reunion with Osbourne, Iommi, and bassist Geezer Butler but has maintained that the door was open for a reconciliation. Osbourne has stated Ward's demands are unreasonable.
The band has only one more date scheduled, August 3 at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago.
