Britney Spears Approves of Kelly Clarkson's "Everytime" Cover

Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagicEvery night on her Stronger tour, Kelly Clarkson has been covering other artists' songs by fan request, and now one of those artists has taken to Twitter to voice her approval: Britney Spears.

At a show in Las Vegas on July 27, Kelly sang Britney's early hit, "Everytime," telling the audience, "I was so excited that somebody requested this song," noting that she brought in a harpist just to perform it with her. "This is one of my favorite songs by Britney Spears," added Kelly. The enthusiastic audience sang along with every word.

Britney posted a link to the performance on Twitter on Tuesday, and wrote, "Awww @Kelly_Clarkson this is beautiful girl! XXoo"

Kelly retweeted Britney's comment, adding, "Thanks girl! I love that song :)"
