Madonna's Shoes a Hit in London, Coming to the US Wednesday

Kevin Mazur/WireImageMadonna used to live in London, and now her former hometown is showing some love for her...shoes.  Vogue UK reports that a pop-up boutique in the British department stores Selfridges devoted to Madge's new Truth or Dare shoe collection is a huge hit.

Launched a week ago, the footwear line -- which features everything from flats to stiletto-heeled boots -- has proven to be tremendously popular with shoppers, with some styles already selling out.  Selfridges' shoe-buying manager told Vogue UK, "The Truth or Dare collection has proven to be our most commercially successful footwear pop-up this year so far.  It's one of the most successful celebrity endorsements we've ever worked on."

The Truth or Dare shoes, some of which were inspired by various looks that Madonna has sported over the years, will be available in the U.S. at Macy's and Nordstrom starting Wednesday.  The superstar plans to follow them up with a clothing line at some point.
