Roger Hodgson Releases New Solo Version of Supertramp's "Give a Little Bit"

Photo: Rob ShanahanFormer Supertramp singer Roger Hodgson recently launched a new leg of his Breakfast in America Tour, and is now making his way across the U.S. with his four-piece backing group. In conjunction with the trek, Hodgson has released a new version of his old band's 1979 hit "Give a Little Bit" as a digital single.

The updated rendition of the tune features accompaniment by a children's choir, and originally appeared in a Coca-Cola commercial. The track is available for purchase at iTunes for 99 cents.

Hodgson has U.S. dates scheduled through a November 13 concert in Modesto, California. He also recently announced that, for a 10th consecutive year, he will be playing special shows backed by an orchestra at Casino Rama in Orillia, Canada. Those performances are slated to take place November 16 and 17.
