Rita Ora Covers One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful"

Facebook.com/RitaOraRita Ora's song "How We Do (Party)" is worlds apart musically from One Direction, but that didn't stop the Roc Nation singer from covering "What Makes You Beautiful" during a London radio show appearance.

On Wednesday, Rita visited BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge where she sang a stripped-down version of the British boy band's signature hit, flipping the pop tune into an easy Caribbean vibe before returning it to the more acoustic feel.

Meanwhile, Rita's debut album, Ora, is due out in the U.K. on August 27, with a U.S. album release date anticipated later this year.  Fans can look for Rita's album, which was two-and-a-half years in the making, to feature Drake, will.i.am and The-Dream, according to MTV News.   But what does Rita's mentor, Jay-Z, think of the disc? 

"He loved it," Rita tells MTV.  "He looked at me and said, 'You love it?'  I said 'I love it' and he said, 'Well, I love it too.'"
