Chris Young Calls "Neon" His "Love Song to a Bar"

Randee St. NicholasWhen choosing the songs for his latest album, Neon, Chris Young knew the song that became the album's title cut was one he had to record.  Now the song is climbing the country charts and could become Chris's sixth consecutive #1 hit.

Thinking back on recording the song, Chris tells CMT.com, "It was something I didn't have for this record yet.  I don't think I've ever heard a song that's kind of a love song to a bar, basically."

Chris will serenade fans with "Neon" during his show in Boise, ID, coming up August 22.
