Lauren Alaina Cancels Weekend Concerts for Doctor-Ordered Vocal Rest

ABCLauren Alaina has canceled her appearances with Sugarland in Cincinnati and Detroit this weekend after a doctor put her on vocal rest.  She wrote in a statement, "I'm really sorry to disappoint the fans who were coming to see me and my friends Sugarland who have helped me out on their tour.  I will make it up to you and be back soon!"

Vonda Shepard is stepping in to take Lauren's place on these shows.  Lauren returns to the road August 12 with a performance at the Boots and Hearts Festival in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada.
