Sara Evans Gets Big Online Response to Picture of Herself with No Makeup

The CollectiveSara Evans posted a photograph of herself with no makeup on Instagram and Facebook a few days ago, and  it's already gotten more than 43,000 likes on Facebook. Sara's never had anything blow up like this online before, and she has a good idea why fans are reacting so positively to the photo.

"It's been really, really interesting to see the reaction," Sara tells ABC News Radio. "I think that the reason it's gotten so much attention is that people really do love to see celebrities or maybe people that they look up to and see them just be real."

Sara posted the photo on a whim and never expected it to get such a huge response. Now that it's out there, female fans are bound to be curious about Sara's skin care regimen. Sara admits she doesn't do a lot to take care of her skin saying, "There are many nights after concerts that I will go to bed with all of my makeup still on or just put some moisturizer on."

The big reaction to Sara's makeup-free photo also opens up the door for her to talk to her daughters about the concept of beauty too. Of course, they see Sara without her makeup all the time.

She says, "I am excited to discuss this reaction with them and talk to them about how I can have tons and tons and tons of makeup on and all these fancy clothes, but the most reaction that I've gotten from anything that I've tweeted has been this picture of me without makeup."
