Kevin Mazur/WireImage via ABCWhat's it like to smooch Justin Bieber? Well, you won't have to worry about bad breath. That's according to actress Chanel Celaya, who smooches The Bieb repeatedly in the video for "As Long as You Love Me."
"He definitely had minty fresh breath,” the 20-year-old actress tells the New York Post, adding, “I brushed my teeth before every scene. I had mints, gum, everything. I think he had the same concept and courtesy of doing that.”
Not only did Justin taste good, dishes Chanel, but "he did smell very good" as well. She adds, "I have no idea what he was wearing, but I remember being like, ‘Wow, you smell really good.’ ”
In the clip, Chanel plays the daughter of an over-protective dad, played by actor Michael Madsen, who beats Justin to a pulp after the singer convinces his daughter to sneak out and meet him.
So, what did the two chat about on-set while filming the clip? "I mean, just normal things," says Chanel. "'What’s your favorite color? Favorite food? Favorite animal?' Just normal things you’d ask after making out with someone, I guess.”
Despite their bonding on the video set, Chanel's and Justin's relationship didn't progress beyond the world of make-believe. They don't stay in touch; in fact, she didn't even ask him for his number when the shoot was over.
"That’s a no-no! He’s got a girlfriend!” she exclaims. “You don’t do that.”
