Kenny and Taylor Celebrate Sweet Sixteen Again

ShorefireKenny Chesney and Taylor Swift are celebrating "sweet sixteen" again, at least when it comes to gold records.

In July, the Recording Industry Association of America gave Kenny two gold certifications, one for this current CD Welcome to the Fishbowl, the other for digital sales of his single "Come Over." Both are the 16th of each kind of his career.

The same is true for Taylor Swift, as "Safe and Sound" becomes her 16th gold digital single. Gold certification means an album or single has sold half a million copies.
