Burke/Triolo Productions/ThinkstockThe Hollywood Reporter says Keith Urban is American Idol's top choice for a judge to represent country music, as the show revamps its panel for its twelfth season. If he agrees, Keith would sit alongside Mariah Carey, who has already committed, and possibly Nicki Minaj and Enrique Iglesias, both reportedly being courted by the show.

Blake Shelton lords his ACM Male Vocalist trophy over the other judges, and hints at a renewed wave of competitiveness in  the trailer for the third season of NBC's The Voice, which premieres September 10.
