Report: Nicki Minaj Is "100% Confirmed to Judge 'American Idol'"

MyPinkFriday.comFollowing a story in The Hollywood Reporter on Friday that Nicki Minaj was a strong candidate to join Mariah Carey behind the judges' table on American Idol, US Weekly is now reporting that it's a done deal.

Two sources confirm to US Weekly that Nicki is getting the job.  One insider says, "I'm not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it. A few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening."  Another source told the magazine that the rapper is "100% confirmed to judge American Idol."

So far, Fox has yet to comment on the report.  The Hollywood Reporter had initially stated that Nicki might have a problem landing the American Idol job because she has an endorsement deal with Pepsi, and Idol is sponsored by Coke.

Other names circulating in the American Idol rumor mill include Keith Urban, Enrique Iglesias, Pharrell Williams and Nick Jonas.
