Taylor Swift on Track for Record-Breaking Sales Week with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"

Big Machine RecordsTaylor Swift's new single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," is on track to sell more than 600,000 downloads in its first week according to Billboard.  That would give Taylor a shot at scoring the best-selling week ever for a song by a female artist, and the second-biggest week overall.  Right now, Flo Rida's "Right Round" is the champ with 636,000 copies sold the week of February 28, 2009.  Ke$ha currently holds the record among females with "Tik Tok," which moved 610,000 copies in January 2010.

CMT will play Taylor's lyric video for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" 13 times on Tuesday as a nod to Taylor's lucky number 13.  A fully produced video for the song is expected soon, and Taylor's fourth album, Red, is due out October 22.
