Jason Aldean Creates a Big Buzz with "Take a Little Ride"

James Minchin IIIJason Aldean's new single, "Take a Little Ride," is racing up the country charts, and that's all part of the plan as Jason prepares to release his new album, Night Train. 

Looking back on past album-launching singles like "She's Country" and "My Kinda Party," Jason explains that he loves having a straightforward, uptempo song lead the way for new projects at radio.

"The second and third and fourth single is usually where we branch out a little bit and try some other things," Jason explains.

As for leading with a big, uptempo song like "Take a Little Ride" again, Jason says, "I think that just kind of adds excitement and helps create a big buzz around the album, and I thought the song was perfect for that."

Jason's new album, Night Train, will be in stores October 16.
