Slash Recalls Finding Mom Naked with David Bowie

Image credit: Travis ShinnBad enough to walk in on your naked mom when you're a kid, but Slash reveals that when he was eight years old, he discovered his mother naked with David Bowie.

In an interview with Australian radio station Triple M in Adelaide, the former Guns N’ Roses guitarist says his mother, Ola Hudson, was a costume designer who worked with Bowie in the mid-70s during the singer’s Thin White Duke period and on the film The Man Who Fell to Earth.

Slash recalls, Bowie “was always over -– they were always together.  I caught them naked once. They had a lot of stuff going on, but my perspective was limited. Looking back on it, I know exactly what was going on.  When I look back on that whole combination of people, I can only imagine how freaky it was.”

Ola Hudson passed away in 2009.
