Garth Brooks Added to Teachers Rock Concert Lineup; CBS Special Airing August 17

Pearl RecordsGarth Brooks joins Dierks Bentley on the bill for the Teachers Rock concert August 14 at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre.  The show is a tribute to teachers and education and is being taped for the Teachers Rock special airing Friday, August 17 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

Carrie Underwood is also slated to appear on that special along with Meryl Streep, Jennifer Garner, Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and Josh Groban.  Proceeds from the concert will benefit DonorsChoose.org, Feeding America and Teach for America.
