John Mayer's $265K Sports Car Up for Grabs on eBay

Ethan Miller/Getty ImagesThough he was just spotted in Los Angeles with Katy Perry, John Mayer actually moved to Montana a while back and simplified his life.  Now it appears that part of the simplification process is getting rid of his toys: a super-expensive sports car he used to own is now up for sale on eBay.

AutoEvolution.com reports that the vehicle, a Ford GT supercar, isn't overpriced at a whopping $265,000, considering it's a "special edition."  Specifically, it's a 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition, built to commemorate Ford’s Le Mans victories in 1968 and 1969.  It features a paint job in Heritage Blue and Epic Orange, as well as a great sound system, body protection and tinted windows.

It's unclear exactly when John divested himself of the vehicle -- the listing says it "was owned" by him.

The auction for the car runs through August 14, and $265,000 is the "Buy it now" price.  You can also make your best offer if that's a bit too rich for your blood.
