Monica, Fantasia, Robin Thicke Performing During Woodstar Festival in Chicago

RCAMonica, Fantasia, Robin Thicke, Dawn Richard and Estelle are among the stars who'll be headlining the August 18 Soul in the City R&B Concert at this year's Woodstar Festival.  The showcase is an annual event hosted by Monica's husband, NBA player Shannon Brown.  The festivities will get underway at Union Park in Chicago, not far from Maywood, IL, where Shannon grew up.

Doug E Fresh, Slick Rick, Rakim, MC Lyte and Naughty By Nature will also perform during the three-day festival, which begins on a Friday.  They'll rock the house on August 19, during the Kangols & Eight Ball Jackets Classic Hip Hop Block Party.

The weekend will include a basketball clinic for kids, as well as, a celebrity basketball game.  Jeremih, Day 26's Willie Taylor, Memphitz and Rico Love are slated to play.
