Pitbull Seduces, Shakira Sings in New "Get It Started" Video

RCA RecordsOn Thursday, Pitbull premiered "Get It Started," his video collabo with Shakira.

"Get It Started," opens with scenes of intrigue to introduce its various characters: Mr. Worldwide and his beautiful love interest, who also seems to have a rich and possessive husband.  In the video, Pit is seen looking reflective as he enjoys a generous pour of Voli Vodka, the brand of liquor he co-owns.  Interestingly, Pitbull's lyrics speak not so much about love but his triumphs as he raps about how he "went from eviction to food stamps... to a passport flooded with stamps."

In the video, we see Pit's girl trying to leave her old relationship, only to be caught by her hubby's security at the train station and brought back home.  But hope is not lost: she and Pit are able to make it to his black Fiat for a quick getaway through the streets of Madrid.  Mission accomplished, the two are then able to enjoy a concert where Pitbull is shown rocking the crowd as his girl cheers him on from the sidelines.

So where's Shakira in all of this?  She's singing from a balcony, wearing a floor-length, gold sequined dress accessorized with a funky chain necklace that cascades over one shoulder.  

"Get It Started" is the first single from Pitbull's upcoming album, Global Warming.
