James Taylor to Perform at Democratic Convention

Facebook.com/JamesTaylorJames Taylor is among the artists who will perform at the Democratic National Convention, which begins September 4th in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Taylor will entertain on the closing night, September 6th, when President Obama and Vice President Biden will accept the nominations for president and vice president at the Bank of America Stadium. Other performers include Marc Anthony, Foo Fighters, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Mary J. Blige.

"This roster of performances only adds to the excitement building in Charlotte for the historic week ahead of us," said Democratic National Convention Chair Antonio Villaraigosa.  "The tens of thousands who will attend convention events in person, and all those tuning in across the country, should be ready for quite a show."
