Christina Aguilera, Train, Jason Mraz to Appear on "A Very Special Christmas 25th Anniversary" CD
Big Machine RecordsA host of big names are contributing music to a very special musical charity project. A Very Special Christmas 25th Anniversary, an album hitting stores October 16, will feature songs from Christina Aguilera, Train, Jason Mraz, OneRepublic, The Band Perry, Michael Buble and more.
The album is the latest in an ongoing series of holiday albums that started in 1987. Since then, the seven albums in the the series have generated more than $100 million in royalties to benefit Special Olympics, making it the single most successful benefit recording series in musical history.
Over the years, music's biggest stars have contributed songs to the Very Special Christmas albums, including U2, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Sting, Colbie Caillat, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, No Doubt, Eric Clapton, Stevie Nicks, Bryan Adams, Mary J. Blige and more.
