Eli Young Band fans know every word to their #1 hits "Crazy Girl" and "Even If It Breaks Your Heart," and that's sometimes a problem during their lives shows when the fans are basically screaming the lyrics back at the band. They first noticed it when "Crazy Girl" first started taking off at radio.
Lead singer Mike Eli says, "There was actually a point where we had to change the way we started the song because the crowd was so loud that we couldn't hear the count off to start the song."
The members of Eli Young Band are very grateful to have this problem though. Mike explains, "I think when you're a band and you're an artist and you put everything you've got into recording these records, to be able to hear them come back and sing your music that loud, it's a feeling you can't really explain. It's incredible."
Eli Young Band is now promoting their new single, "Say Goodnight," in their shows on Rascal Flatts' Changed tour this summer. They'll play shows in North Carolina and Pennsylvania in the coming days.
