"American Idol's" Pia Toscano Being Considered for "Glee", Lands First Movie Role

PRNewsFoto/Interscope Records/Andrew McLeodYet another American Idol alum may be heading to Glee.  Following the news that season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez was in talks to appear on the show, E! Online reports that season 10 favorite Pia Toscano is also being considered for the show...but not any time soon.

A source tells E! Online that Glee reached out to Pia to read for a part in the show, and while they "absolutely loved her," they decided to change the part so it was no longer suitable for her.  However, the source says that Glee bosses are interested in her coming back and taking on a different role in the series.

Meanwhile, Pia can console herself with her first feature film role, in a movie called Grace Unplugged.  In the film, Pia plays an aspiring musician called Grace who tries to make it in Hollywood and still maintain her Christian faith.  The role was written specifically for her, and Pia tells E!, "I'm honored to be a part of this amazing film, and my character is a reflection of me, which makes this special for me."
