Pink Turned Down Judging Spots on "American Idol" & "X Factor"; Reveals Eminem Collaboration

Andrew MacPherson/RCA RecordsWhen those lists of stars being considered for jobs as judges on singing competition shows are reported, one name that doesn't show up often is Pink's -- but that doesn't mean she hasn't been offered those jobs.  In fact, she's been offered all of them, but turned them down.

The Australian Herald Sun quotes Pink as saying, "I was offered The Voice in Australia plus American Idol and The X Factor. I said no...because you can't be honest. People will hate you if you're honest. Simon Cowell is the only person who gets away with it because he's got an accent. And he's a man. People would just hate me more than they already do. I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings."

According to the paper, Pink has also revealed that her new album The Truth About Love features a duet with Eminem called "Here Comes the Weekend."  Pink sang on his album Recovery so it's just payback.

Pink tells the paper, "He said 'Do you want to do a song with me?' F**k yeah! I said 'Do you want to do a song with me?' and he said 'F**k yeah!' Handshake. Nothing signed. Done."  She describes the song as an "alternative club banger."  Also appearing on the album is fun. frontman Nate Ruess, who joins Pink on the track "Just Give Me a Reason."

The Truth About Love hits stores September 18.
