Warrant Issued for Former Grateful Dead Drummer Mickey Hart Following Alleged Assault

Facebook.com/MickeyHartLaw enforcement officials in Kentucky have issued an arrest warrant for former Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart in connection with allegations he attacked an individual at a concert on September 8, TMZ reports.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Hart is accused of assaulting a person at a Mickey Hart Band show at Terrapin Hill Farm in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.

Details are scare, the gossip site notes, explaining Kentucky police automatically issue arrest warrants after an alleged victim files a police report and indicates he or she wants to press charges.

The performer's reps tell TMZ they're looking into the matter.

Hart was a member of the Dead from 1967 until 1995, when Jerry Garcia passed away.
