Rod Stewart to Promote New Christmas CD on HSN Oct. 26

Facebook.com/RodStewartRod Stewart's first-ever holiday album, Merry Christmas, Baby, hits stores October 30, but you'll be able to get a sneak peek by tuning into HSN on October 26 at 8 p.m. ET.

During HSN Live Presents Rod Stewart, the star, backed up by producer David Foster, will perform some of the songs from the record; he'll also do a post-show encore and live chat on HSN's Facebook page afterwards.  During the show, fans will be able to pre-order an exclusive two-disc bundle for $14.95.  The bundle includes the new Christmas disc, and a "best of" featuring Rod's greatest hits, like "Maggie May," "Reason to Believe" and more.

The last time Rod appeared on HSN, back in 2010, he was promoting Fly Me to the Moon: The Great American Songbook Volume 5.  Then, he broke a record for HSN music sales, moving over 25,000 copies during his one-hour performance.  Rod continues to be the biggest-selling music artist on HSN.

As previously reported, Merry Christmas, Baby features guest appearances by Cee Lo Green, Michael Buble and Mary J. Blige, as well as a "virtual duet" with the late Ella Fitzgerald.
