Taylor Swift is taking time out of her busy album release week for Red next month to encourage kids across the country to read. Taylor will host a live classroom webcast on October 24 in partnership with Scholastic's Read Every Day global literacy campaign. The webcast starts at 2 p.m. ET that day. Registration is open to teachers only at Scholastic.com/ReadEveryDay.
Taylor will discuss "where reading can take you" in the webcast and also perform a song from Red.
Red lands in stores October 22 featuring Taylor's #1 Hot 100 hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
