Taylor Swift to Host Classroom Webcast to Promote Reading on October 24

Big Machine RecordsTaylor Swift is taking time out of her busy album release week for Red next month to encourage kids across the country to read.  Taylor will host a live classroom webcast on October 24 in partnership with Scholastic's Read Every Day global literacy campaign.  The webcast starts at 2 p.m. ET that day.  Registration is open to teachers only at Scholastic.com/ReadEveryDay.

Taylor will discuss "where reading can take you" in the webcast and also perform a song from Red.

Red lands in stores October 22 featuring Taylor's #1 Hot 100 hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
