Train Previews Their "Sesame Street" Performance, "Five By"

Facebook.com/TrainTrain is one of the many big names who'll be appearing on the new season of Sesame Street, which begins this Monday on PBS, but they're offering fans a sneak peek at their performance now.

The band wrote on its Facebook page, "We got to hang out on Sesame Street with the Count and Elmo and sing a song about the number five called 'Five By' (you may recognize it)."  A link to Train's performance of the song -- a spoof of their hit "Drive By" -- was included.

In the video, the three members of Train -- Pat, Scott and Jimmy -- are walking down the street with the Count and Elmo, singing about wanting to buy some fruit but not sure how many pieces to buy.  Of course, the Count uses his astonishing math skills to determine that there are, in fact, five of them, so they need five pieces.   "Oh, he was counting/ finding the amount then/we found we were five guys/1, 2, 3, 4, 5," sing Pat, Scott, Jimmy and the Muppets.

In the next scene, the five are walking down the street and decide to stop and rest, but they're not quite sure how many chairs they need.  Time for the Count to once again lead them in counting up to five.

It's not clear exactly when Train's segment will appear on this season of Sesame Street, which is the 43rd, believe it or not.
