Catch John Fogerty Performing on a New PBS Special Friday Night

Photo: Nela KoenigJohn Fogerty is one of the many music luminaries appearing in a new PBS special premiering Friday at 9 p.m. ET.  From Dust to Dreams: Opening Night at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts documents a March gala celebrating the debut of the new Las Vegas facility.

The two-hour show features performances by stars from various genres, including Carole King, gospel/soul singer Mavis Staples, Train frontman Pat Monahan, R&B singer Jennifer Hudson, and country stars Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Martina McBride and Emmylou Harris.

TV star Neil Patrick Harris serves as host for the event.
