Wilco Brings Monsters Together in “Sunloathe” Video

Facebook.com/WilcoHQAfter transporting themselves into a 1930s Popeye cartoon for their single “Dawned on Me,” Wilco has once again gone the animated route for the new video for “Sunloathe,” from their latest album, The Whole Love. The storyline features a bunch of monsters that find each other and watch a sunrise after being driven out of their homes by angry villagers and torch-wielding cats.

In other Wilco news, the band has just signed on to perform a headlining set at the Vail Snow Daze Festival, which takes place from December 13-15 in Vail, Colorado. Other performers set to hit the stage at the festival include The Shins and Michael Franti & Spearhead. Tickets are available now, with three-day passes starting at $99.
