Jay-Z and Beyonce Cause Commotion at Manhattan Nightspot

STAN HONDA/AFP/Getty ImagesJay-Z and Beyonce caused a flurry of social media attention when they visited the New York City nightspot La Marina.  Others celebs who accompanied the power couple at Sunday's 7 p.m. get-together included producer Swizz Beatz, music executive Steve Stoute, rapper Memphis Bleek, basketball player Baron Davis of the New York Knicks, and others, reports the website All Hip Hop.

Jay and Bey's appearance lit up twitterverse with comments and photos.  One fan snapped a picture of the couple and tweeted, "Shout out to jay-z & beyonce just took over dyckman" -- citing the Upper Manhattan street where La Marina is located.  Another posted his pic of the pair, the hashtags #La Marina and #privileged and the comment "HOV & B [La Marina] pulled up in the Maybach. [Privileged] @ La Marina NYC."

According to the website DNA Info, Beyonce wore a leopard print wrap dress by Roberto Cavalli and black platform heels.  As for Hova, he had a more low-key vibe wearing a jean jacket, white T-shirt and khaki pants.  Not spotted in attendance at the grown folks party was the couple's eight-month-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
