Metallica Pays Tribute to Late Bassist Cliff Burton with Free Download of 1984 Concert

Facebook.com/MetallicaThursday marked the 26th anniversary of the death of Metallica bassist Cliff Burton. To honor his memory, the band is giving away something special to their fans. Metallica announced on their Facebook page that they’ll be offering up a free download of a concert the band played in France on November 22, 1984.

"We miss you" the band wrote in a post on Facebook under a picture of Burton. "While you're remembering Cliff on the 26th anniversary of his passing, give a listen to this free download from the Ride the Lightning tour."
