Star-Studded Rock Legends Cruise II Gets Under Way Today

RockLegendsCruise.comThe second Rock Legends Cruise, offering a mind-blowing lineup of famous rock artists, sets sail today from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Among many stars who will perform during the four-day Caribbean voyage will be Kansas, Foreigner, Paul Rodgers, Bachman & Turner, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, 38 Special, Blue Oyster Cult, The Marshall Tucker Band, Foghat and Molly Hatchet.

After embarking, the Rock Legends Cruise II will travel to Labadee, Haiti, where it will dock on Saturday.  The ship then will head back to Fort Lauderdale, arriving there on Monday.  During the nautical extravaganza, each artist will give two or three performances.  In addition, original Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Bob Burns and one-time Skynyrd backing singer Leslie Hawkins will be on hand to participate in Q&A sessions.

Proceeds from the cruise will support the Native American Heritage Association.

The inaugural Rock Legends Cruise took place in December 2011 and featured such stars as ZZ Top, George Thorogood & the Destroyers, ex-Allman Brothers Band guitarist Dickey Betts, The Marshall Tucker Band, Johnny Winter and Edgar Winter.
