There's more information on Chief Keef's legal troubles. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Keef has been sentenced to 60 days in juvenile detention.
The news comes following a report Wednesday that a juvenile court judge ruled that 17-year-old Keef, born Keith Cozart, had violated his probation by holding a rifle during an on-camera interview last summer with the music website Pitchfork. Keef was serving an 18-month probation sentence for pointing a gun at a Chicago police officer in 2011.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Keef pleaded with the judge not to sentence him to juvenile detention. The newspaper also reported that Keef broke down in tears, but Chicago blog FakeshoreDrive reports that its sources say Keef did not cry.
