Jennifer Lopez calls a lot of shots while leading her $250 million entertainment empire, but deciding which one lands on the cover of People Magazine isn't one of them. Sources tell the New York Post that Jennifer isn't happy about the photo on the cover of the magazine's current issue, and even reached out to complain.
According the Post, "[Jennifer's] camp feels she looks old and haggard" in the photo. Instead of her usual form-fitting, bedazzled bodysuit, J-Lo is pictured wearing jeans, a blouse and a sweater, with a megawatt smile and her long hair blown straight and styled into bangs. Friends of the singer unfavorably compared Jennifer's smile and hairstyle to that of 70-year-old fashion designer Betsey Johnson, the newspaper reports.
Ironically, the cover headline splashed on the photo is, "I Have No Regrets!"
However, when contacted by the Post, Jennifer's manager Benny Medina denied there was any bad feelings about the picture, saying, "We worked closely with the editors of People and we are very pleased with cover photo and the results all around." And a rep for the magazine insists that they "continue to have a productive relationship with [Jennifer] and her team."
