Elton John to Perform with Rising British Star Ed Sheeran at Grammy Awards

Facebook.com/TheGrammysElton John is known for collaborating with young artists at the Grammy Awards -- in the past, he's sung with both Eminem and Lady Gaga.  This year, he'll do it again, teaming up with rising British singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran

Five-time Grammy winner Elton is a big fan of Sheeran's, who's a first-time nominee this year for his song "The A Team." The two will perform together on the Grammy telecast, which airs February 10 on CBS.

But Elton isn't the first Grammy winner who Sheeran has duetted with: he also sings with Taylor Swift on her current album Red.  In fact, Elton isn't even the first Rock and Roll Hall of Famer with whom Sheeran has performed.  At the Olympics closing ceremony last year, he sang a version of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" backed by Floyd drummer Nick Mason and Genesis guitarist Mike Rutherford.
