Jay-Z Welcomes Timbaland to Roc Nation

LifeAndTimes.comJay-Z's Roc Nation record label and management team has added another star to the roster: Timbaland.  A photo on Hov's Life + Times website shows Jay enjoying a celebratory cigar while hanging out at a recording studio with Timbo.  "Roc Nation welcomes TIMBALAND to the family," reads a caption below the snapshot.

The announcement made Roc Nation a trending topic on Twitter Wednesday afternoon, but the news doesn't come as a total surprise.  Timbaland's been getting some renewed buzz ever since word spread that he was working with Justin Timberlake on his long-awaited album.  And of course, Justin's project includes the lead single "Suit & Tie" featuring Jay. 

Over his long career, Tim has had a hand in a number of Jay-Z hits, including 1998's "Jigga What, Jigga Who" and 2003's "Dirt Off Your Shoulder."
