Casey James' latest single, "Crying on a Suitcase," is one of the more wordy songs on the radio these days, but Casey has never had a problem spitting all those lyrics out. In fact, he had the delivery down cold from the start.
Casey tells ABC News Radio,"'Tell her that you want her, need her, love her, gotta have her' -- those are type things that you could easily mix up, but almost from the very first time that I heard it, it was like, boom, in my mind, you know. "
The lyrics of "Crying on a Suitcase" tell the story of a guy's inner struggle as the girl he loves gets ready to board a flight to leave him.
Says Casey, "He's trying to tell himself, does he want to do this? Is he gonna make this choice? Is he gonna get over his pride? Is he gonna do it, or is he just kinda gonna do the same thing that he's been doing."
"Crying on a Suitcase" is a high point of Casey's live show. He has a show in Denver coming up Saturday.
