Who ya gonna call? Well, in the case of "Ghostbusters" singer Ray Parker Jr. -- it's his attorney. TMZ reports the singer has filed a lawsuit claiming EMI and Sony/ATV Music owe him hundreds of thousands of dollars in royalties for his title song from the 1984 hit film Ghostbusters.
According to the report, Parker claims in court papers that he was entitled to 75 percent of the gross receipts from the hit song.
Parker claims he's been owed royalty payments for more than ten years and possibly decades.
"Ghostbusters" was number one on Billboard’s pop chart for three weeks in the summer of 1984.
