Peter Frampton Joining Bluegrass Star Ricky Skaggs Next Month for Country Music Hall of Fame Concert

Photo: Gregg RothPeter Frampton has signed on to appear as a guest performer during a two-night series of concerts presented by bluegrass great Ricky Skaggs at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville on November 18 and 19.  Frampton is slated to join Skaggs for a country-themed show November 18. along with Emmylou Harris, Brad Paisley and others.

The November 19 event, meanwhile, will feature a bluegrass theme and will include performances by Bruce Hornsby, Alison Krauss and Del McCoury.

Skaggs is organizing the concerts as part of his service as the Country Music Hall of Fame's 2013 Artist-in-Residence.  These shows will be the first public events held in the Hall's brand-new CMA Theater.
