Justin Bieber Accused of Assaulting DJ's Tour Manager in South Korea; Releases Movie Teaser, New Song
Justin Bieber is being accused of assaulting a DJ's tour manager at a nightclub in South Korea. Sources tell E! Online the 19-year-old singer got into a scuffle with DJ Michael Woods and Woods' tour manager Alex Madden at a club called Eden in Seoul.
Sources say Justin was acting "aggressive," and exchanged words with Woods and Madden. He reportedly punched Madden in the face before fleeing behind his security entourage.
Woods on Saturday tweeted his version of events. He wrote, "Story is @justbieber + his army of heavy security muscled in to the booth half way thru my set in S. Korea demanding hip hop." He added, "So when I told @justinbieber to f*** off and put some clothes on he took a cheap shot at my tour manager and fled behind a wall of security."
Justin's spokesperson had no comment about the incident, and the club promoter claims that no punches were thrown at all.
Meanwhile, Woods is getting some support from a fellow DJ -- deadmau5. Deadmau5 tweeted, "I'm sorry, but if you got up in my face while I was performing, and demanded me to play some bull****, I'd probably punch you in the neck." He added, "Someone needs to jump on Justin's stage and start telling him what to play. I apologize on behalf of Canada."
The brouhaha has overshadowed a couple of gifts that Justin has given his fans in recent days. On Friday, he debuted a teaser for his new movie, Believe 3D, which opens Christmas Day. He is promising more footage in the coming weeks, using the hashtag "FilmFridays."
He's already using the hashtag "MusicMonday" to promote the fact that he's releasing one new song every Monday over the course of 10 weeks. Last week, he premiered "Heartbreaker"; early Monday, his latest song, "All That Matters," hit iTunes. It's a sweet R&B tune in which he sings, "You make me complete/You’re all that matters to me."
