The Doors' Robby Krieger to Be Special Guest at Gov't Mule's Halloween Concerts year, Gov't Mule, the group fronted by Allman Brothers Band guitarist Warren Haynes, picks a different artist to pay homage to during its Halloween concerts.  This year, the Mule has chosen to showcase the music of The Doors, and the group will welcome a very special guest, Robby Krieger.

The Doors guitarist will perform with Gov't Mule at two upcoming California concerts, October 30 at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles and October 31 at the Fox Theater in Oakland.  Those gigs currently are the only ones on Krieger's 2013 schedule.

Gov't Mule, meanwhile, continues to promote its new studio album Shout!, which comes with a bonus disc offering alternate versions of the new songs performed by a variety of guest singers.  The band's fall itinerary runs through a November 10 concert in Dallas.  The group also has a pair of two-night stands scheduled for late December in the Philadelphia area and New York City.  Visit to check out all the band's tour dates.
