A new book featuring more than 200 images of Bruce Springsteen is now available for purchase. Bruce Springsteen in Focus 1980-2012 offers a impressive selection photos of the Boss snapped by veteran photographer Debra Rothenberg, who became a passionate fan of the New Jersey rocker while she was still a teenager.
From small New Jersey clubs like The Stone Pony to some of the world's largest stadiums, In Focus captures Springsteen doing what he does best -- enthralling crowds of music lovers.
In a promo video for In Focus, Rothenberg talks about her passion for the Boss, explaining, "Bruce's music brought me to another world -- another planet, actually. A place where I knew who I was and where I wanted to be: at the Jersey shore.
Rothenberg says she considers her book "my tribute to [Springsteen's] talent, performing energy and the happiness he gives to his audiences." She adds that if Bruce ever happens to check out the volume, she hopes "he will see it as a wonderful walk down Memory Lane."
Rothenberg has been a photographer for the New York Daily News since 1999, and her images have appeared in such well-known magazines as Rolling Stone, People, Time, Newsweek and Us Weekly.
