Life is pretty sweet for Kacey Musgraves. Sales of her debut album, Same Trailer Different Park, are way up after her performance and New Artist of the Year win at last week's CMA Awards. Her success isn't confined to America, though. Kacey recently took her brand of country to Europe for a two-week trek.
She says, "I had such a great welcome. Our shows were sold out in places I've never even been to, and that was mind-blowing to me."
Back in the States, Kacey has seen her music embraced by a wide variety of concertgoers.
"You go to my shows, there are people age 16 to 65, and that, to me, is a huge honor, 'cause as a songwriter I want to connect with people of all kinds and all ages," Kacey explains. "I couldn't ask for a better reception to Same Trailer Different Park."
The latest single from that album, "Follow Your Arrow," is now climbing the country chart.
