Cole Swindell Looks Forward to "Chillin' It" With His Family this Thanksgiving

Warner Music NashvilleCountry newcomer Cole Swindell is making a splash with his debut single, "Chillin' It," a title that also perfectly describes the vibe at his family Thanksgiving get-togethers. Cole looks forward to just spending quality time with his loved ones this week.

"We've always had a close family, so it's really the holidays whether it be Thanksgiving, Christmas, whatever, is the only time we really all get to be together as a family," he says. "Just sitting around the table and holding hands, saying the blessing, telling stories. That's just all the things that make Thanksgiving special to me."

Cole can't pick just one favorite Thanksgiving dish. He admits to loving everything on the table.

Says Cole,  "We don't have big enough plates in my household, so I have to go back and try one of everything. I love turkey and just all the sides that grandma and aunts and everybody that visits -- everything they fix is always good."

Look for Cole to open shows on Luke Bryan's That's My Kind of Night tour in 2014.
