This year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade features quite a few performances from top country stars, including Florida Georgia Line. The duo's Tyler Hubbard admits he and singing partner Brian Kelley were a little bummed to miss out on Thanksgiving with their families, so they came up with a fun solution to make New York City feel like home.
Tyler says, "[We] kind of thought about it and said, 'Well, let’s just bring the family up to New York.' My family has never even been to New York, so, very exciting time and they’re excited to see the city and kind of experience what that week’s gonna be like and take ‘em out to dinner and have a good time."
NBC's coverage of the parade includes the Florida Georgia Line performance as well as an appearance from Carrie Underwood, who plays Maria Von Trapp in NBC's The Sound of Music Live! December 5. Kellie Pickler and Brett Eldredge are also slated to perform on NBC's parade broadcast. Lady Antebellum will be featured on CBS's coverage of the parade as well.
