Paramore has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving: this past year, the band really proved that the 2010 departure of of band members Josh Farro and Zac Farro hadn't cramped their style. They notched their first-ever #1 album, headlined a major U.S. tour and scored a huge hit with "Still Into You." On top of that, lead singer Hayley Williams racked up yet another hit with her collaboration with Zedd, "Stay the Night."
"This has been a crazy year for us, the hardest we've ever worked in our lives," Hayley tells ABC News Radio. "But I think being at the end of it -- I can't even believe it's November already -- I think we're all just really grateful."
Hayley says that what she's most thankful for is that in 2013 the band was able to accomplish all of its goals, and then some.
“Not only did we do what we said we were going to do -- we stuck together as a band, we put out a record that we're the most proud of -- but like, we worked really, really hard for it too,” Hayley tells ABC News Radio. “We did everything we said we were gonna do, and that's gonna be a nice feeling to look back at 2013 and see all the experiences that we've had this year and know that the hard work paid off.”
Paramore wraps up their headlining tour on Wednesday, just in time for a Thanksgiving break. After that, they'll do a string of holiday shows and then head to Australia after the new year. In March, they'll headline Parahoy!, their first-ever fan cruise.
