Expansive Yes Box Set Being Released Next Month

Rhino RecordsA new box set featuring all the studio albums Yes released on the Atlantic Records label will hit stores just -- and we mean just -- in time for Christmas.  Due out on December 24, The Studio Albums 1969-1987 offers expanded editions of the progressive-rock group's first 12 full-length efforts, including such classic releases as Fragile, Close to the Edge, Going for the One and 90125.

The 13-CD collection also includes an expanded version of 1987's Big Generator, which previously was only available in Japan.  That album's bonus tracks include alternate versions of the Yes hits "Love Will Find a Way" and "Rhythm of Love."

The compilation's discs come housed in a clamshell box featuring new art created by longtime Yes cover designer Roger Dean.  The box set also includes a fold-out poster and features such classic Yes songs as "Roundabout," "I've Seen All Good People: Your Move," "And You and I," "Leave It" and the chart-topping "Owner of a Lonely Heart."  A digital version of the collection also will be sold.
