Springsteen, Roger Waters & More Stand Up for Heroes in New York City

Bryan Bedder/Getty Images for New York Comedy FestivalBruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa, Roger Waters, Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart and more paid tribute to the sacrifices of our military members at The Bob Woodruff Foundation and New York Comedy Festival Production's "Stand Up for Heroes" benefit at New York City's Madison Square Garden Wednesday night.

The annual event -- created by and named after ABC News' Bob Woodruff, who himself was nearly killed by an improvised explosive device while covering the Iraq War in 2006 -- benefits his foundation, which is dedicated to helping service members integrate back into their society after they're injured. In the past seven years, the event has raised nearly 20 million dollars.

Waters performed Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here," accompanied by a group of injured soldiers who are also musicians, and Springsteen performed hits including "Dancing in the Dark" and "Dream Baby Dream."
