Heart's New Holiday Songs to Be Released as a Digital Single Next Week

Legacy RecordingsHeart has confirmed official release details about the two new holiday tunes the band recently sent to radio stations.  The group's updated renditions of "Please Come Home for Christmas" and "All Through the Night" will be available as a two-track digital single on Tuesday, November 12.

"Please Come Home for Christmas," written and originally recorded by blues singer Charles Brown, features Heart frontwoman Ann Wilson sharing vocals with legendary soul singer Aaron Neville.

"I have loved Aaron Neville's amazing, soulful voice since I was a teenager, and it is a great blessing to get this opportunity to sing a duet with him," says Ann.  "He truly has a gift, and is a sweet person.  It shows on this track."

"All Through the Night," meanwhile, is a traditional old Welsh folk tune that features Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson singing lead and '80s pop star Richard Marx contributing backing vocals.  Nancy came up with a new arrangement of the song with producer Emilio Estefan and pianist Shelly Berg.

Estefan, a multiple Grammy winner who is the longtime husband of Gloria Estefan, also produced "Please Come Home for Christmas."
